Hamza El Fasiki is a researcher, published and Scopus indexed author, artisan, and instructor. He is the founder of CRAFT DRAFT where he teaches and lectures, since 2013, on three Moroccan crafts: Moroccan geometric patterns, Moroccan brass engraving and Moroccan leather bookbinding.
Hamza lived and traveled while learning and teaching Moroccan culture around 16 countries. He holds an MA in Moroccan Cultural Studies with a research focus on the cultural history of Moroccan brass guild of the Fes medina from Sidi Mohammed Ben Abdellah University in Fes, Morocco (2014).
A Fes native, he also part-time apprenticed for ten years under his father (2011-2021). Hamza is based between Fes/Morocco and Portsmouth/England.
